In such cases luminescent/reflecting elements are added to the adhesive, to enable the photo-cell to recognize the beginning and end of a label. (Luminescence/reflection often has in this instance a value of 8 on the Ciba-Geigy scale). RÖMER ETIKETT also offers the possibility of applying a special luminescent varnish. Luminescent varnishes are used for security reasons and as proof of authenticity. If security regarding authenticity and dispensing are your priorities, luminescent varnishes are a very suitable choice.
