A special form of PE-film is the direct metallized version. In general, its characteristics are the same as "normal" PE-film. The high gloss is very obvious. Attractive effects can be achieved by the use of normal translucent colours, but also with opaque colours. The metallic effect is very noticeable. A similar appearance to foil-stamping is achieved by negative printing. Direct metallized film is therefore a very suitable alternative to foil-stamping.
